Who is Seung - Hwan Oh? I honestly don't know. I don't think Low Blow Joe or the Cardinals even know. What we do know (ok, I'll stop) is that he blew a save on Opening Day in a prime time game against the World Series Champions...ouch. Yes he has an era of 16.20, yes he is 34 years old and yes this is only his second year in the MLB. Oh is an enigma but luckily we have the internet and I can throw some information at you so we at least know who this guy is before we make fun of Joe's Fine Team for having him.
Seung - Hwan Oh is a Korean born pitcher nicknamed Stone Buddha and The Final Boss. He is know for his slider and rising fastball called the "Dol-jikgu" (stone fastball). He is considered the greatest closer in Korean baseball history. Most of you remember him as the guy who took over for Trevor Rosenthal when he went down. You probably saw he was next in line for saves and thought, "wOh or who?" He went on to strike everyone out and posted a 11.64 K/9. He's more than an Opening Day blown save guys I swear (Joe's Fine Team told me to write that). Could Oh be magic again this year?
