Player Profiles: Time to Grow Up

Shit happens Wilmer. You're still playing a game professionally for money.
Remember when mischief night was fun? Toilet paper, getting dressed in all black, roaming the streets with your friends. Maybe destroy a mailbox or two. What about watching cartoons and playing with action figures? Man that stuff was awesome...everything was so simple. You hit a certain age though and you can't do that stuff anymore. I can't lay on my stomach on my parents living room floor and play with batman action figures at the age of 26 without having my parents asking me if everything is ok with my life. Even something as innocent as playing a game of backyard football and walking to McDonald's with your friends is weird at a certain point.  Once you reach a certain age you just can't do it. What if your boss sees you? Can you imagine a group of adults doing that? Insane. I know what you're thinking, "age is only a number creating by humans so we buy into government and big corporations" no it's not and at some point no matter your age you need to take responsibility and grow up.

These players need to grow up and start producing for RE2PECT

1. Anthony Rendon: Its time Rendon. Make or break time for you. Back in the day you were an amazing high school baseball player. You went to Rice U and and balled out. As a freshman he batted .388 and was nominated for the Golden Spikes Award (look at the past winners. awesome company). Sophmore year he was the first underclassman to win Baseball America's player of the year. He was then drafted 6th overall by the Nats in 2011 ahead of Fransisco Lindor, George Springer, and Jose Fernandez RIP. He's done nothing stat wise in the MLB. Sure he's had some clutch hits and after a couple of games hes the king of getting people to say "Man, Rendon is a solid hitter". He's never hit more than 85 RBI in a season. He's yet to even reach a BA of .290. Time to put up or shut up Renny renny late night organ doner.

2. Jose Peraza: I know your 22 years old but c'mon Peraza! This is your chance! Swipe more bags get on base! A fast guy who can;t get on base is one of the most frustrating things in sports. Bunt...do something. Peraza is sporting a whopping a .254 OBP and has 13 hits in 64 ABs...sheesh. This guy is not good right now. Whatever Team Wheels says remember he has one walk.  You read that right...one. Peraza you are better than this and you are in a lineup with Joey Votto. Get on base, take second, score when Votto hits a single and that's it.

3. Taijuan Walker: This guy. The Mariners gave up on Randy Johnson when he was in his 34 in the 1998 and he threw 95 mph. The Mariners gave up on Walker when he was 23 last year and he throws 95 mph. Walker you can be the Big Unit 2.0 but younger. Not really but you can be good. Walker has been teasing fantasy baseball managers for years now. Walker is forever shook. In his mind the bases are always loaded and he is standing on the mound in his underwear. Walker is playing like a scared player and he is better than that. Walker needs to grow up and be the ace that he is. Career 4.17 ERA? Let's get better Taijuan!
